Going the final mile – riding through the low points – believing when others dont – Seek out great mentors – look and listen to the best of the best and learn from them -every single day

This is true but people often see success without considering the enormous effort and sacrifice that has enabled it to happen.

Life is tough and to be honest, it is nice to hear the success stories. They allow the rest of us to dream and aspire to be like these people and to learn from their successes and their failures.

Good stories. We often focus too much on the success rather than the tough road getting there. The headings are not clear enough.

I think back to situations where it would have assisted greatly to have heard views like these.

Any of them able to fix the crisis in Belgian sports?
April 7th, 2011 at 4:17 am

Absolutely I agree…finding the glass half full rather than half empty is so much better. You do become more positive though I think when you realise the work that you have put in and all the bumps in the road were worth it in the end.
