Q&A: Celebrity scandal aftermaths?
I’m writing a paper about a celebrity scandal and its consequences. I need a story about a celebrity doing something scandalous, like making racist comments or hateful remarks about someone/something, and then taking action to prove that he/she has changed/ didn’t mean it, etc. Thank you!

In recent times, the Don Imus comments about the Rutgers Women’s basketball team comes to mind first. His comments caused a big uproar and in some way, justice was served. However if you want to focus on racist comments that persist, just watch how NFL commentators repeatedly make use of the words “Redskins” when referencing our Nation’s Capital football team, Washington. It doesn’t take much to gather that this continues to be one of the most widely and publicly used, racist comments.
