celebrities scandal: Why do celebrities get scandals and normal civilians get the full sentence?
I don’t get it, what stops the law from putting a celebrity into prison? Is it because of reputation, status, wealth? It makes no f***n sense!!!

The rich and powerful can afford the best lawyers , it makes perfect sense
if you are rich or have power you are innocent

1] I have known a number of “normal civilians” that get away with repeated violations of the law, just like the celebrities do; but only those closest to the situation know about it.
2] Celebrities do often have an advantage against the justice system, however, because they can afford to hire skillful scumbag lawyers.
