I’m English but I don’t mind him although he’s a bit over rated in my opinion

He used to be an amazing footballer in the 90′s when he first played for manchester which was his “dream” but now I reckon it’s gone to his head and he’s actually forgotten what he stood for in the first place:

That poor kids can still become successful within football rather than endorsing everything that comes up,

however, he is rather nice and gives to charity which is always good (Y)

He is good, not one of the top 20 players anymore but still can play on the flank as well as anybody which is why he will still be starting for England. Haters like to clown on him about MLS but they don’t understand business and are jealous he didn’t come to their league.

Right now…..Becks looks more of a publicity stunt than anything else to most Americans.

They over hyped him coming to the USA and the events that occurred past season did not help his image @ all.

The whole purpose of him coming here is to get new fans to the game of Football, and I think they needed to get the first impression right. Most see it as a failure already and won’t bother with it again.

I’ve watched him play since his United days, so his arrival did nothing for most people who are fans of the game for quite sometime.

I am willing to give him a fresh start for the upcoming season but many people will not. He’s become yet another celebrity to talk about.

for me beckham changes the england team and how they play. england were on a losing streak of about 3 i think beckham comes in and england get a comfortable win over their opponents

I thing David Beckham is a great player. He is just getting old so he is not as good as when he played in england.
