Kate Hudson: Has Kate Hudson ever replicated her performance in Almost Famous?
Almost Famous is a fantastic movie, one of my favorites. In my opinion Kate Hudson was the person that stole the show; I can’t really imagine anyone else playing that role. Since then all she’s done are chick flicks and sub-par comedies though. Has she had any other movies that have come close to the great performance she had as Penny Lane?

I know!!! Oh my gosh that’s EXACTLY how I feel!!! I NEVER liked Kate Hudson because all I knew her from were these stupid rom coms that she does. I hate that kind of sh*t. It’s such a waste. Then I watched Almost Famous, and she was terrific! She absolutely stole the show. Fantastic, memorable performance. To answer your question, I’m almost sure she hasn’t done anything even close to that role. She has just done stupid romantic comedies and stupid chick flicks. Raising Helen is a decent film, but it’s not the same. I completely agree, she could have done so much. She could have been a really good actress. Instead she chose sh*t. That’s disappointing.

Her performance in Le divorce was decent, although it came nowhere near the quality of Penny Lane. About Adam wasn’t bad, either, although that film was made prior to Almost Famous.
