Sylvester Stallone : Do you think Sylvester Stallone is a good actor?
I watched Rocky 4 last night, I thought it was entertaining but the acting was pretty dumb. However, Sylvester was actually nominated for best actor in Oscar for Rocky I and I loved that movie.

For the whole career, Stallone was labeled to be the muscle but nothing much else but he had several movies with good acting.

Do you like his acting or prefer more of his muscle?

Stallone wrote Rocky in 1976. The studio wanted an established actor to play Rocky but Stallone wouldn’t sell them the movie unless he could play the part. Rocky was made for only $ 1.1 million and earned $ 117.2 million and won three Oscars, including Best Picture.
He’s muscular but he’s way smarter than people give him credit for.

Not so brilliant because the role of Rocky was written for himself….but the concept of the film was brilliant.

In various other films, outside the Rocky/Rambo series, he was ordinary.
