I think Tobey leaving is wrong i mean he is the spider-man we know.He is the spider-man we know and has gotten the movies this far so now they have to uproot the concept and start over. So what can we expect a whole new perspective. We wont even know what happens with spider-man next because now we have to go back. No offense to Tobey but he made his chose and now look what we have to deal with.

i think its a wrong step remaking the spider-man franchise. really tobey maguire is the spiderman everyone knows right? rumors say the story will start at high school. I think this is a really bad idea for now. but who knows if they tweak up the story later.

they said they were going to put peter parker back in high school. they never said they’d kick out tobey mcguire though. they’re just parting ways with sam reimi. i think its a good idea. the spiderman franchise thats existing wasn’t going nowhere and half the cast is dead and its losing interest among fans. (not to mention venom was quickly killed off) I like this new direction. i always liked the high school spiderman (Ultimate Spiderman anyone?) the best cuz he’s more relatable (even though i’m not in high school anymore) but still…lol..yeah nut i think tobey mcguire is still gonna be in it,.if not, then what is spiderman without mcguire????
Answer by Mystic Mutant – Hero for Hire
He wasn’t the first Spiderman, and he won’t be the last.
